Why there is a need for such a calendar?
It's not in the charter of any Bay Area or national organization to report events of other organizations. Since frequency and number of local events is growing, it's about time. we have a web-enabled calendar for participating organizations to report their major events or activities
How it works?
A designated volunteer of participating organization logs onto the portal and submits events through a pre-defined online form, ahead of time. The submitted form alerts the administrative staff of the event portal about the submission. The admin approves the event and publishes it in matter of minutes
How long it takes to complete a form?
It does not take much to submit a pre-formatted text of an event. The event is posted as soon as you submit it. We suggest that organizations submit their events at least two months in advance to avoid any conflict with other major events, which is another reason why publishing events using a centralized calendar makes sense. You can also edit an event form that you already submitted.

Initially, we have identified following types of organizations or events. Additional list of categories can be added upon request.
